The Walpole Express is proud to be a part of the New England Midget Development League for the 2012-13 season with both U16 & U18 teams. The league will play a half season schedule that will begin in September and end in November. Head Coaches include Walpole Express Junior coaches Mark Kumpel, Tony Dalessio and Mike Tenney. All home games and practices will be at the Iorio Arena in Walpole, MA. League stats posted on Pointstreak.com.
Included with the U18 & U16 program:
- Tuition is $1550 and includes:
- 18+ Game Schedule
- 1 Full Sheet practice each week at Iorio Arena
- 90 minute skills session each week
- Pre-Season 2 day Mini Camp in late August

The Express Selects program will offer our elite players a high level of play during the off-season and allow them to compete against teams from other states and select programs gaining valuable experience. It also allows participants to receive off-season instruction from elite coaches, including former NHLer and Express Junior A Head Coach Mark Kumpel and Express GM, Tony Dalessio. All applications are reviewed and chosen by our coaching staff.
Included with the program:
- 10 practices (5 for each tournament) at the Iorio Arena
- 2 AA Tournaments
- Minimum of 8 games
- Minimum of 18 hours of ice time
- Express Jersey, Socks & Tshirt
