Dan Scott
Fall Midget U18

Daniel Scott heads the Walpole Express U18 team. His coaching resume is deep, and includes leadership positions with Oliver Ames High School, Xaverian High School, Milton Academy, Northeast Elite Hockey, and Bridgewater State University, among others. As a player, Daniel suited up for Silver Lakes Regional High School, where he was elected captain his senior year; Bridgewater Bandits Junior A, where he helped his team to a second-place finish in the competitive Eastern Junior Hockey League; and Plymouth State University, where his team placed fourth in the ECAC Northeast League. His playing career ended prematurely after he suffered a spinal injury, but he has flourished as a top-notch coach with a player’s eye for the game. |

Rob Reilly

Director for the Northeast Elite Hockey League (NEH), Rob Reilly runs 36 youth teams ranging from mites to high school level. He excels at training the coaching staff and setting up developmental practice plans for all teams. In the past 10 years, more than 700 NEH players have gone on to play high school, junior and college hockey, in large part due to Rob's efforts.
Coach Rob formed the U16 and U18 Walpole Express Midget program currently entering it’s 3rd season. Rob is also responsible for developing the Walpole Express Selects program fielding teams at every age group from mites to midgets. The select teams have had success at both the AA and AAA level. He is also going on 9 years as a director for RB Hockey School.
Rob is also the founder and CEO of Need To Lead (www.needtolead.com), a non-profit organization that motivates young students to become involved in charitable initiatives within their local communities.

Mike Donovan

Michael Donovan grew up in Weymouth and currently resides in Kingston, MA. He lives there with his wife Christine and his four sons. He has coached in the Northeast Elite Hockey for 9 years at levels from squirts to high school. During his time as coach in the league he has won two championships and made it to the finals numerous times. Mike is the assistant director in charge of game-day operations for NEH, a position he has held since 2004. Mike has been a Skills Instructor for RB Hockey School for 9 years, 7 of which he has been an assistant director for the school.

Ryan Hatch

Ryan
attended Mount St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket, RI where he was
a 3 year Varsity player. During those 3 years he won 3 state championship
and was named 1st team All-State 2 times and 2nd team All-State
once. Upon graduating from high school, Ryan played for the Lone
Star Cavalry in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). After his
first year of Junior hockey the team was moved to Santa Fe, NM where
he played for the Santa Fe Roadrunners.
After playing 2 years of Junior hockey Ryan attended Canisius College
where he spent 1 year before deciding that it was not a good fit
for him personally. He then transferred to Salem State where he
held the starting goaltending position for 3 years. During those
3 years Ryan was named athlete of the week on 4 occasions at Salem
State as well as winning the ECAC-East goalie of the week 3 times.
Also during those 3 years Ryan was a 2 time MVP for the team. At
the end of his senior season Ryan was name ECAC-East goalie of the
year. With opportunies to go play Minor pro, Ryan decided that it
was time to hang up the pads as his true love is in coaching and
helping young Athletes. |
